So- you've read all the website pages that I spent hours (probably too many hours actually!) creating, refining, tweaking... trying to get them to be a perfect reflection of what I wanted to tell you- but it didn't really give me a place to tell you the 'inner me' bits. 

Enter stage left... the blog! 

I like to be a really authentic person, regardless of the situation I'm in. So what I want to share with you are some things that'll let you see a bit of who you'd be working with if you join Stuck to Scaled- because a lot of the time 'doing business' with someone is largely about how you relate to them, rather than just the knowledge they bring to the table. So buckle up- this is the bit where you're going to figure out if you like me or whether you keep scrolling... 

I've gone past the 50th birthday milestone now (PS Yippee! Lots of people don't get to say that so I consider it a huge privilege to be able to!) which means I've learned a few things along the way:

• I prefer to work with people that I get on well with
• that sometimes even when business is going well you still might not like it 
• that it's OK to speak plainly when the need arises
• that I have a weird sense of humour 😉
• that I don't like my wrinkles but love the life I've lived that have given them to me (And yes, in some photos they've been... minimised 😉)
• that I talk lots- especially when I'm passionate about something!
• that when I know someone fairly well I use lots of emojis 🫣😁 and multiple exclamation marks!!!
• that it's ok to talk about things like mental health, feelings, menopause and the many and varied things it does to the body and brain- and all the other supposedly 'not-businessy' things like that. Because we are people doing business with people- not robots or AI (yet, anyway!)!
• and especially that I'm an incredibly private person, and so while you'll likely get to know lots about my business background, my personality, and my somewhat different perspective on quite a few things, you'll not hear me sharing very much at all about my personal life, family, personal history etc etc. (Although I reserve the right to share LOTS of pictures of my cats- because you just can't have too many cat pics!) 

So that's probably enough for now- if you read this far that's probably a good sign, because the way that algorithms work you're probably going to be seeing a fair bit more of me for a while yet!
